Timing is the tide
Pier ceremonies run on civil dusk, not the clock — the golden light lasts twenty minutes and the run sheet is built backwards from it. The studio checks the tide before it checks the calendar.
Wet weather doesn't cancel the pier; the ballroom converts to ceremony format within the hour. Every run sheet carries the weather branch by default.
The budget truth
Packages from A$14,800 for eighty guests cover ceremony, reception, staffing and the bridal suite — the number that moves budgets is the bar, not the flowers. Decide the pour first; everything else is decoration.
Fireworks over the Derwent are real, licensed and worth it — the estate holds one of the few foreshore permits in Tasmania, and it shows in the photographs.
The run sheet belonged to them; the day belonged to us.

What we handle
Styling, florals, lighting, run sheet, menu tasting for four, the accommodation block and the morning-after breakfast — the studio's job is that the couple never sees a cable.
Outside suppliers are welcome; we coordinate their access, power and timing so your celebrant and your band meet on schedule, not in the corridor.
The twelve-month reality
Peak Saturdays book twelve to fifteen months out; Fridays and Sundays are kinder to both calendar and invoice.
Send the date early — a courtesy hold buys you a week to decide while nobody else books it.
